Oxford Skating Club is a non-profit organization where all figure skaters, recreational to competitive are encouraged to meet their individual skating goals. OSC promotes sportsmanship and creates opportunities to develop skaters to their fullest potential in a positive and supportive environment

HERE IS WHAT'S GOING ON AT OSC THE NEXT FEW WEEEKS.



    • TEST SESSION. The schedule for the August 27 USFS Test Session is posted on the Test Sessions Page. Good luck skaters!

    • THE 2010 MUM SALE IS ON. Start selling those mums! For details check the Fundraisers page or find the order form in the News Mail #5 in your email in-box. And while you're at it, consider the new Entertainment Book fundraiser at http://www.entertainment.com/discount/?groupID=971029.

    • USFS TEST SESSION IN AUGUST. OSC is putting on a USFS test session on August 27, 2010. For details and application form see the Test Session page. The deadline has been extended to August 24 .

    • CALENDAR IS UPDATED. Our season calendar is now up to date and available online. Click on the Season Calendar link.

    • CLUB FOLDER. Those of you who cannot attend the Parent Meeting, you can download the contents of the Club Folder here. It is a pretty hefty file (approx. 11 MB), so it may take a few minutes to download.

    • BOARD MEETINGS. OSC Board Meetings are scheduled for the second Monday each month (unless announced differently) and are open to all OSC members. If you wish to add an item to the agenda please notify the OSC Board President 72 hours prior to the meeting. Agenda items received after this time will be added to the following month's meeting. The Board Meeting Minutes are posted on this web site. Click on the link "Board Minutes" under OSC Info in the navigation bar on the left.

      • HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR SSS-FUND WITH INTERNET SEARCH

      Support OSC and raise funds for the Synchronized Skating Scholarship Fund (SSS) with every search you do on the Internet with GoodSearch. Sally Watkins

Sally is Freestyle Coach for many of OSC's skaters. She is also is coaching freestyle skaters both on and off the ice during OSC's Wednesday Night freestyle package.


Sally-Jeanne Watkins grew up in Seattle, Washington where she began skating when she was three years old. Currently, Sally is a member of the Open Collegiate Synchronized skating team as well as the Intercollegiate Skating Team and is serving her second term as Miami Ice Skating Club's President. In 2008 she won the Senior Ladies Championship Title at the Intercollegiate National Championships. In addition to skating, Sally is very passionate about academics and art. She is currently a Senior at Miami University majoring in Engineering Physics, Chemistry, and Environmental Science. To unwind on the weekends she thoroughly enjoys painting ceramics uptown Oxford at "You're Fired".
